Major/Certificate: Political Science with a Certificate in Policy Journalism and Media Studies

I hail from sunny South Florida, but rarely find myself there anymore these days. I’m a member of the Class of 2013, majoring in Political Science while earning a certificate in Policy Journalism & Media Studies. I’m not entirely sure where these areas of study will take me in the distant future, but I’m excited to tell you all about where they’re taking me now!

I’ve loved everything about Duke from the first day I stepped onto its campus, and I can’t wait to tell you about all of the things that make it such a magical place. While on campus I’m involved in the First-Year Advisory Council Executive Board, Duke University Union and Alpha Phi. At the moment, however, I’m a little far from campus, studying abroad in the beautiful city of Barcelona, Spain for a semester! I can’t wait to share my experiences as a Duke student abroad, and show you how far Duke’s horizons expand.
